Content:
Assessment is based on competency – the ability
to perform tasks to the National Occupational Health & Safety Standard and
Worksafe Victoria Standards.
Assessment is conducted through a combination
of practical demonstration, verbal questioning..
Pre-requisites:
To be eligible for a Certificate of Competency,
the practical and verbal test must be successfully completed. This applicant must be a minimum age of 18
years with the ability to speak and write English to a basic level and have the
necessary levels of health and fitness to safely carry out plant operation.
